Rap / Hip-Hop. Is being immature?
I recently had to do an essay on the differences between rap / hip-hop in 1990 and the rap / hip in the 2000's. Well, while in the process actually realized how much has changed. During 1990, we had all rappers in New York and Los Angeles. So what about rap lyrics with a variety of artists (eg, 2pac, BIG, NWA, Snoop Dogg, JayZ, nas, wu tang, etc), I realized that the songs of the 1990 spoken often about real life. Things like that survive in the ghetto all these things. You will now see the 2000's. Is dominated by Southern rappers. One thing I noticed is that since the South increasingly popular, the song began to talk only about girls, cars, clothing and jewelry. I'm not saying that all artists Southern rap on these, but most of them. (Ie: Ludacris, Chingy, Lil Flip children franchise Jeezy). It is an excellent example of a real rapper still talks about real life. I was wondering your opinion guys.
