I work for a jewelry company and our sterling silver jewelry becomes tarnished very frequently. Many factors can contribute to the tarnishing of sterling silver jewelry which can cause a headache. Go by Walmart and pick up some sterling silver jewelry cleaner. In particular, what you want to buy is the brand CONNOISEURS. It’s about $6 at Walmart. You don’t have to go to an expensive jewelry shop and buy their brand of sterling silver jewelry cleaner. The $6 bottle at Walmart works just as got if not better.
Once you’ve opened your sterling silver jewelry cleaner, dip your pieces of jewelry into the cleaner one at a time. Leave the jewelry in the cleaner for a few seconds and then take it out.
