How can I keep my costume jewelry from getting smelly? They start to smell liek old metal which kind of smell?

Costume jewelry can be many different types. Get a cleaner made for each type and a soft brush. Dry it thoroughly and store it in a place that is free of dampness. You can put them in Ziploc with a bit of potpourri.
