Jewelry Design Ideas Rings
I have a buisness idea (a line of piercing jewelry) and I have no idea what steps to take ?
I’ve been thinking about this for about 2 years now. I’m only 16 and all I have is my idea and the designs. I want to start a line of piercing jewelry like labret bars and tongue studs and lip rings. I have designs drawn up and I even have a company name that I’ve kept hidden so no one could steal it. I was wondering where I go from here? Where can I go to get the company name patented? Where can I go to get the piercing jewelry made and how do I find out if they can be mass produced and how much would everything cost? If I use the wrong terms for anything or spell anything wrong I apologize. I don’t know much about how to start producing a product and I have horrible spelling.
Don’t listen to the person above. You do not need to have any kind of experience to start running your own Business and age doesn’t matter. It all starts from a simple idea like the one you have now which is exactly the way Bill Gates started when all he had was an idea as a High School student in Harvard and today he’s the World’s Richest Person and he didn’t have to take no negativity from anyone and so do you!
There are many success stories of young Entrepreneurs as young as 14 years of age who became multi-millionaires. What they all had in common was the desire, the will and passion to become successful in their Business. All you need is Knowledge and to take consistent action on your goals. Make your own Plan and begin taking action on them everyday by at least doing one task per day which will bring you closer to your goal.
If you experience failures, change your strategy and use them as an insight to help you make better decisions so you can turn that failure into a success because giving up is truly the only way you can fail.
For a start, I would suggest looking into some jewelry Franchise opportunities and request more information from those companies as if you are interested in owning a Business with them. You will then be able to have a much clearer idea on most of the factors involved in starting this kind of Business as well as getting an accurate estimate of the investments involved.
