How do you deal with an indian giver????
Ok my brother recieved a bracelet for X-mas gift from a lady friend. She enclosed the reciept said 30days to return or 90 day to exchange. My brother doesnt really wear jewelry..so a week ago he gives the bracelet to me and tells me to exchange it for something I like. So I even exchange it for a nice ladies bracelet. A few days later after I exchanged it she called him demanding for the gift back after 2months. He told her she wasnt getting it back…and how she was trying to be an indian giver. Well I dont have the reciepts for anything or the box for bracelet….just the warranty for it. Can he get in trouble for not returning it? They were not dating she was just a good friends….when he didnt want anything more than friendship is when she got mad. My brother says not to worry about it…I just dont want there to be drama over it.
It was a gift, it was your brothers to do with whatever he wants. He gave it to you. it was yours to do with what you want.
It is all over and done with now and the girl has no right to demand that the gift be returned.
However, your brother should have realized that she was trying to buy his affection and not accepted it.
It is to late for all of that though and this girl shouldn’t have given a gift like that so it is her problem.
Enjoy your bracelet and tell your brother to pull his head out of his butt.
