Markings on inside of old ring?

Recently found an old engagement ring of my mom’s. The markings on the inside are 14K-D FR. I think the 14K means 14K gold, but not sure what the D or FR means. It was purchased in Indianapolis, so don’t know if that could have been the initials of the jewelry store or what. Does anyone have any ideas? Not wanting to sell, just a lot of sentimental value.Thanks

The 14K-D could mean 14 karat diamond, and Fr could be any of the following: Name of the store, initials of her fiance, or a code for a saying they had together…
