Is there a way to solder plastic to metal? If so, how? ?

I want to make a particular jewelry piece and have wondered how people attach some other material like glass, wood, plastic to metal without using a bezel or glue.

I make jewelry, but I can’t imagine what you’re wanting to attach. I don’t ever use plastic for jewelry, but certainly if you’re soldering, the plastic would melt. I could maybe help you more if I knew what items you actually wanted to solder together. There certainly are some strong glues that could be used.
