Well it depends on what you want to know really. But if your wanting to know a whole heap of general information about metals and settings and the origins of precious stones, http://www.jewelrybynet.com/jewelry_learning_center.asp is a really good site. it tells you about different cuts of different gemstones, and diamonds, properties of metals and why they’re good for certain types of jewelry, all about settings for particular stones/pearls and heaps more. All the topics and such are down the right hand side of the page so yeah.
